TODDLER CHILD PROGRAM & CURRICULUM
FOR 18 MONTH - 3 YEARS OLD
Exploring, Growing, & Becoming Independent
Toddlers are full of energy, curiosity, and discovery—and at Little Texans, we create the perfect environment for them to learn, grow, and explore. Our Toddler Program is designed to support this exciting stage by encouraging independence, building social skills, and giving children the structure and care they need to thrive.

WHAT MAKES OUR TODDLER PROGRAM EXCEPTIONAL
At this age, children are eager to do things on their own but still need nurturing guidance. Our toddler teachers strike the perfect balance, creating a safe space where children can take new steps toward independence while knowing they are supported and cared for.

• Learning Through Play
Hands-on activities, from block building to sensory exploration, help toddlers learn naturally while having fun.
• Strong Routines
Predictable daily schedules give toddlers a sense of comfort and security, helping them know what to expect each day.
• Emerging Independence
Simple self-help skills, like handwashing, feeding themselves, and helping clean up, build confidence and responsibility.
• Language Growth
Daily songs, books, and conversations spark vocabulary development and encourage toddlers to express themselves.
• Social Skills
Teachers model kindness and patience while guiding toddlers as they learn how to use their voice, take turns, and play with others.

TODDLER CURRICULUM FOUNDATIONS
Our curriculum builds on toddlers’ natural curiosity while providing the structure they need to grow in all areas of development.
Curiosity & Movement
Toddlers learn best by doing, and our classrooms give them plenty of space to move, climb, and explore. Gross motor activities build balance and coordination, while hands-on play strengthens problem-solving and curiosity.
Friendships & Feelings
Our teachers provide gentle guidance to help toddlers recognize emotions, build early friendships, and develop empathy. These early social experiences are the foundation for strong emotional growth.
Words, Songs & Stories
Language development explodes during these years. We nurture it with daily storytime, singing, sign language, and conversations that encourage toddlers to name objects, share feelings, and express ideas.
Building Independence
From feeding themselves to following classroom routines, toddlers practice skills that foster independence and confidence, preparing them for preschool and beyond.
